In 2020, faculty of our department published a total of 48 papers, of which 21 were included in SSCI, one in SCI, 17 in CSSCI, one in ESCI and eight in general journals, including Sociological Research, New Technology, Work and Employment, Regional Studies, Memory Studies, Social Anthropology, Journal of Aging and Health, etc. In addition, three monographs have been published.

In 2020, our department launched 25 scientific research projects. Among them, four national projects, one military project, four social science projects of Zhejiang Province and seven university-level scientific research projects. In addition, two scientific research achievements of our department won the second prize of “the Eighth Outstanding Achievement Award for Scientific Research of Universities (Humanities and Social Sciences)” and “the Best Paper award of the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion in 2020” respectively.
