On May 17, Mr. Zhaohui Wu, president of Zhejiang University, visited our department together with other leaders of our university. Professor Dingxin Zhao and a few of our teachers took him on a tour around our new building. During a subsequent meeting, Mr. Wu was full of praise for the achievements of our department. He encouraged us to continue to bring in new perspectives and methods to the in-depth study of Chinese society and to keep building Chinese sociology at Zhejiang University.
