Our new department building was officially inaugurated on April 30. After becoming an independent department, we are delighted to now provide our staff, teachers and students with a new home for all of our academic, administrative and other activities. The ceremony marked not only a milestone in our development, but also served as a testimony of our efforts in building a leading department of Sociology.

This is a big step for our department. We will continuously strive to excel in teaching, research, and public service. We are opening a new chapter for our department, for Zhejiang University, and for Chinese Sociology.
