主题:Economic Networks and Cultural Dynamics in Kazakhstan: A Case Study of Emerging Specialized Industries

时间:2025年5月13日(周二)14:00-16:00

地点:浙江大学紫金港西区成均苑8幢1127

简介:Since the 1970s, with the rapid development of the global energy sector and the acceleration of economic globalization, Kazakhstan has gradually emerged as an important new market for specialized products and services. Situated at the crossroads of Central Asia, the Eurasian Economic Union, the Caucasus, and Western China, Kazakhstan demonstrates strong potential to become a regional center for specialized industries. Based on fieldwork conducted in southern Kazakhstan, this sociological research examines how local cultural traditions, historical experiences, and mechanisms of community cooperation contribute to economic organization and resource allocation. The study particularly highlights the important role of traditional cultural groups in fostering social trust, building cooperative networks, and promoting new forms of socio-economic organization. Furthermore, it explores how specialized industry networks have developed under the combined influence of market demand, historical legacy, and contemporary values of cultural diversity, reflecting broader trends of regional economic diversification and social progress.
